Industry codes fail hardest with trades: many HVAC firms are filed under construction, retail or "other services". Buzzlist reads the company name and description and the mix of technicians, installers and dispatchers, so "Smith Heating & Air" is found even if its code says plumbing.
Phone matters more than email here. Ask for a mobile or direct dial and Buzz requires it. The breakdown shows how many owners have one before you spend a contact.
For a territory, add states, cities or a ZIP radius. Most HVAC companies sit in the 1 to 10 and 11 to 50 bands; add 51 to 100 for multi-truck operators.
On the larger companies, a Sales Brief shows what they advertise, what changed recently and who else works there, so you have something specific to talk about on the call.
