Buzzlist is a subscription software product owned and operated by Visitor InSites Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how Visitor InSites Inc. collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit buzzlist.io, create a Buzzlist account, or use the Buzzlist platform.

Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Account information
This may include your name, email address, company, job title, login information, account preferences, team membership, and workspace settings.
Billing information
Stripe processes payments for Buzzlist. We may receive limited billing information from Stripe, such as your Stripe customer identifier, subscription status, payment status, billing address, card brand, and the last four digits of your payment method. Buzzlist does not store complete payment-card numbers.
Information you provide to Buzzlist
This may include:
- Search requests and filters
- Saved contacts and lists
- Company information
- Business profile information
- Sales briefs
- Email sequences and drafts
- Prompts, instructions, edits, and feedback submitted to AI features
- Files, notes, and other content saved in your workspace
- Support requests and communications
Usage and device information
We may collect IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, pages viewed, product activity, login history, referring pages, timestamps, error logs, and security events.
We may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain secure sessions, remember preferences, measure product usage, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
Professional and business information
Buzzlist provides access to professional and business information obtained from licensed data providers, public sources, customer-supplied information, and other lawful sources.
This information may include names, professional contact information, job titles, employers, company attributes, professional profiles, and other business-related data.
Buzzlist is designed for lawful business prospecting, research, and sales activities. It is not a consumer-reporting service.
How we use information
We may use information to:
- Create and manage Buzzlist accounts and private workspaces
- Authenticate users and protect accounts
- Provide search, lists, research, sales briefs, and outreach features
- Process subscriptions, purchases, credits, cancellations, and refunds
- Enforce account limits and product entitlements
- Save customer work and preferences
- Generate and improve AI-assisted content
- Prevent fraud, automated abuse, duplicate free accounts, and unauthorized access
- Diagnose errors and maintain system reliability
- Provide customer support
- Send operational, billing, security, and account communications
- Improve Buzzlist products and services
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
AI-assisted features
Buzzlist may send limited business information, professional contact information, customer instructions, saved company research, and draft content to artificial-intelligence service providers when needed to provide an AI-assisted feature.
Buzzlist uses reasonable controls intended to limit information sent to these providers to what is needed for the requested feature.
AI-generated material may contain errors. Customers are responsible for reviewing generated research, claims, and messages before using or sending them.
Workspace privacy
Each customer workspace is intended to remain separate from other customer workspaces. Customers may access only the information and features authorized for their account, workspace, role, and subscription.
Workspace administrators may invite users, assign roles, remove users, and access work created within their workspace.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the service
- Maintain account and billing records
- Complete transactions
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
When an account is closed, some information may remain in backups or legally required records for a limited period.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No service can promise absolute security. Customers are responsible for protecting their login credentials, maintaining appropriate access controls, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Using Buzzlist and its data lawfully
- Maintaining required privacy notices and consent mechanisms
- Following applicable email, telemarketing, privacy, and marketing laws
- Honoring opt-outs and suppression requests
- Securing exported information
- Limiting access to authorized users
- Reviewing AI-generated material before use
Prohibited uses
Buzzlist and its data may not be used for:
- Consumer reporting under the Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Credit, lending, insurance, housing, employment, or eligibility decisions
- Background checks or tenant screening
- Unlawful discrimination
- Harassment, fraud, impersonation, or deceptive activity
- Targeting or marketing to children
- Any purpose prohibited by law or the Buzzlist Terms of Service
Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about how your information is used.
To submit a request, email mike@visitorinsites.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
Marketing emails include an unsubscribe method. Operational, security, and billing communications may still be sent when required to operate your account.
Children
Buzzlist is a business service intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly permit children to create accounts.
International use
Buzzlist is operated from the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Customers are responsible for determining whether their use of Buzzlist is permitted in their jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Buzzlist changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the updated policy with a revised effective date. We may also provide additional notice for material changes.
